About
Hi, I'm Vasilii – a senior front-end developer based in Dublin, Ireland. I started building for the web when CSS wasn't powerful enough on its own, configuring Gulp pipelines and writing Sass when that was just how things were done. That grounding in fundamentals stuck – I read books like Structure and Interpretation of Computer Programs and Code: The Hidden Language of Computer Hardware and Software alongside picking up new tools.
Most of my career has been deep in SPA territory. I've spent years as the sole front-end developer on a Hyperscale Configuration & Automation Platform – a complex tool for designing data center racks, managing cable matrices, inventory, and shipments. The kind of product where you earn domain knowledge slowly and every UX decision has real operational consequences. I care about how interfaces respond, load, and hold up under pressure.
